Nick dal Farra

Nick Dal Farra is a Backend Engineer at ANVIL since January 2022. Previously, Nick worked on a project at the University of Waterloo focused on using convolutional neural networks for medical image correction, reducing streaking artifacts in CT scans, and generating a zero-cost training dataset through open-source medical data. Nick also served as a Teaching Assistant, receiving the 2021 Outstanding TA Award. Experience includes developing anti-fraud software at Alessa, designing database schemas, and leading client acquisition efforts for student projects at Queen's University. Nick holds a Master of Mathematics in Computational Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Engineering in Applied Math and Engineering from Queen's University.
