Ed Mahayag

Ed Mahayag has over 20 years of professional experience in the technology industry. Ed began their career in 1999 as a Junior Programmer at Practical Solutions Corporation, where they developed VBScript, ASP and VB based database applications. Ed then served as a Web Consultant, providing web hosting and consulting services to clients in the Northeastern region of the United States. In 2002, Ed joined Apptis as a Systems Analyst, deploying and testing software applications for various agencies nationwide. Ed then moved up to Software Developer, developing VBScript, ASP, XML, Visio, and VB based database applications. In 2004, Ed began working at Serco - North America as an Application Systems Analysis and Programming Supervisor and Software Engineer III, where they were responsible for the design and implementation of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Space and Property Management System (SPMS). Ed then moved to Computerized Facility Integration, LLC as a System Architect, where they designed and implemented Facilities Management software solutions. In 2011, Ed joined Business Resource Group - BRG as a Technical Architect, developing IT solutions to business problems for corporate real estate and facility management customers. Ed then worked at ALTA IT Services, LLC as an Implementation Analyst/Project Manager and at Ohm Systems, Inc. as a Systems Architect. In 2015, Ed became a Senior Project Manager at CSRA Inc, developing and designing projects in three environments - development, test and production. Ed then served as a Program Manager - IWMS Technical Services at A-TEK, Inc., organizing, directing and managing all aspects of clients' contract for operational support functions. Ed currently works as a Program Manager at IMS Consulting, managing programs and projects throughout the IMS Consulting portfolio.

Ed Mahayag's education history includes a Diploma from Naples American High School obtained in 1987, an A. S in Business Administration from Northern Virginia Community College obtained in 1990, a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in International Studies and Global Systems from George Mason University obtained in 1994, and a Certificate Completion in Project Management obtained in 2020. Ed Mahayag also holds certifications from the Scrum Alliance (Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) obtained in 2017), Planon (Maintenance Management Solution obtained in 2015), and Microsoft (Microsoft Certified Professional obtained in 2002).
