Sheri Murrell

Sheri Murrell, PhD, MRSc, is a Lecturer in Forensic Investigations and Criminology at the University of South Wales, where involvement includes roles as HPL Forensic Sciences and PhD Researcher with a focus on GC-IMS and GC-MS analysis of microbial derived volatile organic compounds to identify contamination biomarkers. As Project Manager for the Innovate UK Industrial Biocontamination Project at IMSPEX Diagnostics Ltd - G.A.S. mbH since July 2021, Sheri brings extensive experience in analytical science from previous roles at GE Healthcare and ConvaTec. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy in Spectrometry and multiple advanced degrees in forensic science, criminology, and psychology from the University of South Wales and other institutions.
