John Tan

John Tan has been working in the engineering field since 1994. John began their career with an internship at Delft University of Technology's Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. In 1999, they took a Graduate Internship at the Faculty of Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering (3mE). In 2001, they became a Sales Engineer at DGI | Doedijns. In 2005, they joined ERIKS as a Vakspecialist. John has been a Mechanical Design Engineer at IMSystems since 2019.

John Tan has a long and varied educational background. John completed a VWO - Voorbereidend Wetenschappelijk Onderwijs at Johan de Witt College from 1988 to 1991. John then attended HTS Wegastraat Den Haag from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Werktuigbouwkunde. John continued their studies at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1994 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Werktuigbouwkunde/Mechanical Engineering. In 2015, they completed a Master's degree in Theoretical and Practical Application of FEM and CAE Simulation at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. Most recently, they obtained an ACE Mechanical Designer degree in 3D CAD Mechanical Design / Autodesk Certified Engineer from TEC / CADCollege in 2022-2023.
