Michael Andrist

Michael Andrist is a seasoned IT professional currently serving as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at IMT AG since January 2023. With a robust background in IT management, Michael has been a Prüfungsexperte Informatiker EFZ at ICT Berufsbildung Ostschweiz since January 2014 and previously led the IT operations at Kanton St. Gallen from 2011 to 2022, managing a team of eight and overseeing IT support for two vocational schools. Prior to that, Michael held various positions at Leica Geosystems AG from 1997 to 2011, leading global IT projects and supporting IT infrastructure at new offices. Michael's education includes a Berufsmaturität Technisch and an Informatiker EFZ from GBS Gewerbliches Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum St. Gallen.
