Sharon Yavrom

Sharon Yavrom, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of clinical science and medical liaison. Sharon currently holds the role of Executive Director, Clinical Science at Imugene Limited since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Consultant, serving as a Clinical Development Consultant from May 2022 to June 2022. From August 2021 to April 2022, they were employed as a Senior Director, Clinical Science at Oncternal Therapeutics. Sharon also held the position of Senior Director Clinical Science at MEI Pharma from November 2020 to August 2021.

In previous roles, Dr. Yavrom worked as a Director, Clinical Science at Aduro Biotech from November 2019 to October 2020, and as an Associate Director, Clinical Science at Tocagen Inc. from August 2018 to November 2019. Sharon gained valuable experience as an Associate Director, Clinical Science at Puma Biotechnology, Inc. from October 2015 to August 2018.

Prior to these roles, Dr. Yavrom served as a Senior Medical Science Liaison at Synta Pharmaceuticals from May 2013 to October 2015. Sharon began their career at Amgen, where they held two positions: Senior Regional Medical Liaison, Oncology from December 2009 to April 2013, and Sr. Regional Medical Liaison, Nephrology from December 2006 to February 2010.

Dr. Yavrom's earliest career experience was at Metabolic and Men's Health Team, Medical Affairs, Research & Development TAP Products, Inc, where they worked as a Medical Education and Research Liaison from January 2005 to December 2006.

Sharon Yavrom, Ph.D. has a diverse educational background in the field of biology. Sharon obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from San Jose State University. Following this, they pursued a Post Baccalaureate degree in Molecular Biology from Harvard University. To further enhance their expertise, Sharon completed a Ph.D. in Pathobiology at the University of Southern California.
