Tatyana Dobreva has a diverse range of work experience across various companies and academic institutions. Tatyana is currently the Chief Executive Officer at ImYoo since September 2021.

Prior to that, Tatyana worked at Caltech from 2014 to 2021. During their time there, they held the position of a Medical Engineering Graduate Student from September 2017 to September 2021. Additionally, they served as a Research Volunteer at the Viviana Gradinaru Lab from July 2014 to August 2017, where they conducted data analysis for BONE Clarity and utilized machine learning for the design of new viral variants for gene delivery therapies.

From 2014 to 2017, Tatyana worked at JPL (NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory) as a Signal Processing Engineer. Their responsibilities included leading a team in delivering radios for cube satellite missions, performing signal processing and antenna simulations for research projects, and working on integration and testing for a cube satellite radio called FINDER.

Before that, they worked at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2014, where they completed capstone projects in Image Processing and Digital Signal Processing.

Tatyana's professional experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer at National Instruments in 2013 and a position as a Satellite & Ground Station Engineer at the Michigan Exploration Laboratory, University of Michigan from 2011 to 2012.

Tatyana Dobreva pursued their education at the University of Michigan from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering. Their field of study focused on Digital Communications and Signal Processing. Subsequently, Tatyana furthered their education at Caltech from 2017 to 2022, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Engineering.
