Michelle Reynolds Albers

Michelle Reynolds Albers has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Michelle Reynolds currently serves as the Director of Payor Contracting at IN Compass Health since March 2022. Prior to this, Michelle spent over two decades at IMPACT, Inc. where they held the position of Vice President, Contracting. In this role, they were responsible for all contracting activity for multiple Independent Practice Associations (IPA) and Accountable Care Organizations, working with over 700 providers.

Before their time at IMPACT, Inc., Michelle worked at CNA Health Partners, Inc., first as the Assistant Vice President, Network Management and later as the Director, Network Management. In these roles, they oversaw the successful management and coordination of Primary Care Networks (PCN) sponsored by self-insured employers. Michelle Reynolds worked with various vendors and stakeholders to optimize network performance and provide cost containment recommendations.

Michelle also gained experience as a Network Manager at CoreSource, Project Manager of Continual Quality Improvement at Candler Hospital, Inc., and Employment/Employee Relations Manager at Candler, Inc. Additionally, they served as an Administrative Fellow at Candler Hospital, Inc., where they completed Certificate-of-Need applications and led the Admitting/Patient Registration Department.

Throughout their career, Michelle has showcased their expertise in contract evaluation, negotiation, implementation, management, and enforcement. Michelle Reynolds has developed a strong understanding of healthcare networks, utilization management, data analytics, and cost containment strategies.

Michelle Reynolds Albers holds a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business, which they completed from 1990 to 1993. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management at the same institution.

Prior to their postgraduate studies, Michelle obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Health Services Administration from Auburn University. Michelle Reynolds completed their undergraduate degree from 1985 to 1989.

In terms of additional certifications, Michelle received the Certified Specialist Managed Care (CSMC) certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in an undisclosed year. Michelle Reynolds also obtained the Certified Specialist in Managed Care certification from the HFMA in August 2021.
