Travis Earls has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. In 1991, they started their career as a Product Manager and Inside Sales Associate at Tech Data, where they successfully managed inventory and purchasing responsibilities for multiple product lines. Travis also developed and executed strategic buying plans, as well as implemented marketing efforts to increase sales.
In 1996, Travis joined Arrow Electronics, initially at SBM and later as part of Arrow NACP. During their time there, they held various management positions, including Director of Asset and Sales. Travis oversaw the Asset group, managing inventory and forecasting supply needs. Travis also supervised internal operations related to IT, integration, warehouse, and purchasing, and led an inside sales team focused on delivering high-quality sales and support to customers nationwide.
In 2002, Travis founded Deka Technologies Inc., a successful IT Managed Services organization. As President and CEO, they developed a strategic vision and successfully managed the start-up, high growth, and consolidation phases of the business. Travis provided quality IT services and Cloud solutions to small and mid-sized businesses at reasonable prices.
In 2004, Travis transitioned to IN COMPASS HEALTH, where they served as the VCIO Chief Information Officer. Travis acted as a Virtual Chief Information Officer for one of the premier Hospitalist organizations in the country. Travis managed and implemented healthcare technology solutions, ensuring compliance with HIPPA regulations. Travis also developed and managed healthcare security practices and optimized operational workflows.
In 2005, Travis joined Stanley D. Lindsey & Associates, Ltd. (SDL) as the VCTO Chief Technology Officer. Travis played a crucial role in developing strategic technology plans for the adoption and implementation of Cloud and on-premise solutions. Travis was responsible for technology operations, including service desk, infrastructure, systems, software, telecommunications, and business process design. Travis also designed solutions for multi-site telecommunications, storage replication, active directory/DNS, and file server operations.
In 2013, Travis took on the role of VCTO Chief Technology Officer at SouthEast LINK. Travis managed CLOUD and On-Premise infrastructure and technology operations, including networking, security, service desk, and vendor management for an organization in the Southeast U.S.
Travis joined Atlanta Business Chronicle Leadership Trust in 2019 as an Official Member, lending their expertise and contributing to the business community.
Most recently, in 2022, Travis started working at TITAN 100 as a Georgia Titan 100, showcasing their continued involvement in the professional field.
Travis Earls has a education history that includes attending The Citadel where they pursued a degree in Business. Travis later enrolled at Thomas Edison State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Travis furthered their education at Florida Institute of Technology where they achieved a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Technology Management.
