Tiemen Dalhuisen

Tiemen Dalhuisen has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Tiemen is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at In Ovo since April 2021. Before that, they served as the CFO at AHV International from May 2020 to January 2021. From June 2016 to May 2020, they worked at Protix as the CFO, where they played a key role in the company's growth and achievements, including securing significant capital raises and establishing the first industrial insect factory. Prior to this, Tiemen held the position of CFO - Finance Director during their sabbatical from August 2015 to May 2016. Tiemen also served as the Finance Director for ForFarmers Netherlands from April 2012 to August 2015, overseeing finance operations and managing a team.

Earlier in their career, Tiemen worked at Nutreco in various finance director roles. Tiemen was the Finance Director for BU Hendrix UTD from October 2009 to March 2012, responsible for a subsidiary with multiple production sites and a significant turnover. Tiemen also served as the Finance Director for TN America's from December 2005 to October 2009, managing premixes and feed additives operations in several countries. Prior to these roles, Tiemen worked as a Controller for Trouw Nutrition Nederland and as a Financial Controller for Nutreco Aquaculture.

Before joining Nutreco, Tiemen gained experience as the Group HR Manager & Plant Controller at Hendrix Meat Group after it merged with three pig slaughterhouses in 1998. Tiemen began their career at Coopers & Lybrand in 1985, where they worked as an auditor and later became a manager. During their time at Coopers & Lybrand, they were involved in various responsibilities, including hiring new staff and providing training.

Throughout their career, Tiemen has demonstrated strong financial leadership skills and a track record of success in managing complex financial operations for large and international companies.

Tiemen Dalhuisen completed their education in the field of Economics at the University of Groningen from 1986 to 1988, obtaining a degree of RA. Prior to that, they attended Windesheim from 1979 to 1983, where they pursued a degree in Accountancy. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Register Accountant from NIVRA in June 1988.
