Katie Syddall

Katie Syddall has work experience in multiple roles and companies. From January 2019 to November 2019, they worked as a Senior Research Officer at IN-PART. In November 2019, they transitioned to the role of Research Manager until June 2020. From June 2020 to April 2022, they were the Discover Research Manager - Life Sciences at IN-PART. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Industry Partnering at IN-PART since April 2022.

Prior to their time at IN-PART, Katie worked at The University of Sheffield as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. Katie held this position from September 2016 to November 2016 and again from November 2016 to December 2017. From January 2018 to December 2018, they continued their work as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the same institution.

Katie Syddall pursued their education at The University of Sheffield, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from 2007 to 2010. Following this, they continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Master's Degree in Biological and Bioprocess Engineering, spanning from 2010 to 2011. Katie Syddall further went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Directed Evolution of Chinese Hamster Ovary Cells, which they attained from The University of Sheffield between 2011 and 2016.
