Jeremy Gilsdorf

Jeremy Gilsdorf has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Jeremy started their career in 2010 as a SolidWorks/Engineer Draftsmen at Zany Wooden Toys That Whizz Pop Spin and Fly, where they created engineer drawings of toys. Jeremy then worked as a Manufacturing/Design Apprentice at Greg Fedeczko Furniture, where they manufactured and designed custom furniture projects.

In 2012, Jeremy joined Covidien as a Mechanical Engineering Student, where they worked on designing electromechanical interfaces and slip rings for surgical equipment. Jeremy also quoted components for mass production.

From 2013 to 2014, Jeremy worked at Staging Concepts as a Product Development Engineer, contributing to the design of a new acoustic shell product line and creating fixtures for new applications. Jeremy also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at LasX Industries, designing precision components and testing prototypes for laser automation equipment.

In 2014, Jeremy joined Hydra-Flex, Inc as a Project Engineer 1, where they built a high-pressure nozzle test lab and improved testing capacity. Jeremy then worked as a Test Engineer, conducting experiments and validating high-pressure fluid products.

Since 2017, Jeremy has been working at In-Situ as a Research and Development Mechanical Engineer III. Their responsibilities include designing hardware, conducting FEA, and writing validation test plans for multi-parameter sonde product lines.

Jeremy has also gained experience as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where they conducted battery tests, assembled solid-state batteries, and provided guidance to student teams in the design process.

Jeremy Gilsdorf attended Cheyenne Mountain High School from 2007 to 2009. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. Jeremy attended the university from 2009 to 2013.
