André Brückmann

Technical Director Systems Engineering at in-tech

André Brückmann has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. André began their career as an Electronics Engineering Technician at Scheidt & Bachmann GmbH in 1998. Following that, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Airbus Deutschland GmbH from 2006 to 2008. André then joined Berner & Mattner Systemtechnik GmbH in 2008, where they served as a Systems Engineer, Project Manager, and Team Leader for Transportation Systems until 2015. Subsequently, they worked at in-tech industry GmbH as the Head of Department for Transport Systems from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are the Director Rail and Head of Systems Engineering at in-tech GmbH, responsible for strategic planning and management of all systems engineering activities worldwide. André also heads the global center for competences in systems design and engineering.

André Brückmann completed their primary education at Hochschule Niederrhein from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Dipl. Ing. (FH) degree in Electrical Engineering and Communications Engineering. In 2003, they participated in an exchange program at Wrexham University, where they focused on Electrical Engineering. In 2005, André Brückmann conducted their Diploma Thesis on optimizing Thin-Film Equalising Filters for Fibre Raman Amplifiers at Universidad Pública de Navarra.

Additionally, André Brückmann obtained several certifications, including CSEP Certified Systems Engineering Professional from INCOSE in January 2021, Certified Systems Engineer (GfSE)® Ebene B from Gesellschaft für Systems Engineering e.V. in January 2021, and Certified Project Manager IPMA Level C from IPMA: International Project Management Association in November 2012.
