Hurwen Dekkers

Hurwen Dekkers has over 25 years of experience in the finance industry. Hurwen began their career in 1995 as an Associate Management Accounting at ING, where they were responsible for management reporting for the ING Barings' directors for Western Europe and the Middle East. In 1998, they moved to SNS REAAL as the Head of IT Relationship Management and Consultancy, where they were responsible for the Service Desk, Business Consultants, and Service Level Management. Hurwen was also the Head of Management Accounting, responsible for the Management Control cycle of the SNS REAAL Group, and a member of the Financial and Audit Committees of SRG. In 2008, they joined CREDIT YARD as the CFO/COO, reporting to the CEO and DGA of Credit Yard Financial Services B.V. in Eindhoven. In 2011, they moved to Vesting Finance as the CFO/COO, where they were responsible for Finance, ICT, Operations, HRM, Risk Management, Legal Affairs, and Facilities. Hurwen then joined Qander Consumer Finance in 2015 as the CFO, and has been the CFO of in3 since 2022.

Hurwen Dekkers received their RC from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 1996 and 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Drs in Financieel Economisch Management from Tilburg University between 1989 and 1994. Finally, they attended Buys Ballot between 1983 and 1989.
