Kate Denton

Kate Denton was appointed as Acting CFO of Symbio in March 2022. Kate has been with the company for close to seven years in various senior finance roles. Most recently, she led the core Group Financial Controllers team and is eminently well placed to provide continuity in the role of Acting CFO.

Prior to joining Symbio, Kate worked in London as a Finance Manager at fintech company SunGard (now FIS), Group Financial Accountant at Vector Electricity and started her career as an auditor at Audit New Zealand.

Kate is a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Grad Dip) in Accounting and Economics from the University of Otago.
