Connie Cheung started their work experience in 2010 as a Research Assistant at the Liangfang Zhang Nanomedicine Lab, where they examined nano-structured biomaterials for medical applications. Connie also worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Nanoengineering Department at the University of California, San Diego, where they led discussion sections, taught classes on chemical process simulation, and worked on humanitarian engineering projects as part of the Teams in Engineering Services program.
