Derek Hauschka

Derek Hauschka has had a diverse work experience in the field of medical devices. Derek is currently working at Inari Medical, where they started in August 2020 as a Senior R&D Project Engineer and later held the roles of R&D Engineering Manager and Senior Manager of R&D Engineering. Prior to that, they worked at Medtronic from May 2015 to August 2020 as a Senior R&D Engineer and Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, where they were involved in product transfer, validation, and process improvement for neurovascular micro catheters. Before that, Derek was the Chief Creative Officer at 9 Dimension Studios from August 2013 to December 2015. Derek also worked at Abbott from August 2010 to March 2013, where they held the positions of Senior Quality Engineer and Quality Engineer, working on projects related to balloon catheters and Nitinol Stent Implants. Derek's earlier experience includes working at Edwards Lifesciences from March 2008 to August 2010 as an EW Partner in Research and Development Engineering, where they were involved in design, validation, automation, and product development for various medical devices.

Derek Hauschka graduated from UC Irvine in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
