Greg Peel, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Scientist at Inari since March 2020, specializing in molecular biology. Previously, Greg held the position of Senior Molecular Biologist at Phylos from April 2019 to February 2020 and worked at Bayer Crop Science as Scientist III in Genome Editing from June 2018 to April 2019, focusing on CRISPR reagent delivery and recombinant protein expression. A significant tenure at Monsanto Company lasted from September 2008 to June 2018, during which Greg contributed to genome editing, plant growth development, and nucleic acid uptake research. Prior experience includes a post-doctoral associate role at Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation under Dr. Richard Dixon from July 2005 to August 2008, concentrating on engineering condensed tannin pathways. Greg holds a PhD in Plant Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from Purdue University, alongside an MSc and BSc in Biochemistry from Mount Allison University.
