Minghui Sun

Minghui Sun currently serves as the Director of Statistical Analytics at Inari since December 2022 and has been a Senior Adjunct Professor at Maryville University of Saint Louis since 2019. Previously, Minghui held roles at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. as the GinkgoAgBio/Decision Science Lead for a brief period in late 2022, and at Bayer from December 2019 to October 2022, where responsibilities included being a Bayer Science Fellow and leading Biostatistics and Global Breeding data science efforts. Prior experience with Monsanto Company from 2005 to 2019 included positions such as Global Breeding Senior Statistician and NA Sobean Discovery Breeding Statistical Geneticist. Minghui holds a PhD in Plant Genetic Breeding from Iowa State University (2014) and two Master’s degrees, one in Statistics and another in Crop Science, both from North Carolina State University (2005).
