Rubi Tanimura is an experienced operations lead and manager at Inari since February 2017, where leadership of a high-performing team and oversight of projects across three sites have been key responsibilities. Tanimura previously served as a research associate at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and as a junior research fellow, facilitating scientific communication and events. Experience as a research assistant at the Karlstrom Developmental Neurobiology Lab included studying Hedgehog Signaling in zebrafish brain development for an honors thesis. Additional roles include administrative assistant, personal care attendant, mentor for high school students in a lab setting, and board member for the Acton-Boxborough Coalition for Healthy Youth, concentrating on youth mental health and wellness initiatives. Tanimura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned in 2016, following a high school education at Acton Boxborough Regional High School.
