Robert Powell

Robert “Bob” Powell grew up in the northeast United States, primarily in Maryland, and his career and education have taken him across the country.

He received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Troy University in Alabama. He furthered his education at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL, by earning 20 MBA credit hours and completed additional professional development at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business.

After college, he moved to New Orleans where he met his wife and lived for nine years. Both of his daughters were born in Louisiana.

Today, Bob calls Florida home and is VP, Commercial Banker for INB’s South Florida market. As a financial professional with leadership experience in sales and operations management for businesses ranging from Fortune 500 companies to local organizations, Bob has extensive experience with sales management, production, strategic planning, credit management, business development and much more.

He also has a strong history of community service, having served on the board of the Berwyn Development Corp and the PAV YMCA in Illinois and been involved with an economic development organization called the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance.
