Maria Piels

Maria Piels is a seasoned architect with extensive experience in both freelance and corporate settings. Currently employed as an Architect at Inbo since May 2019, Maria has actively participated in team building and women's initiatives within the company. As a freelance architect since November 2013, Maria operates under the name Maria Piels Architect. Notable roles include Co Organizer for the Bouw met Bamboe! symposium in 2024 and serving as a jury member for the NEPROM prize for site development in 2022 and 2024. Previous positions include Architect at A&E Architects - BAM Advies & Engineering, and internships at MAD Architects and The Spontaneous City International. Maria holds a Master of Science in Architecture, Urbanism & Building Sciences from Delft University of Technology, complemented by various international educational experiences.
