Els De Bie currently serves as the HR-coördinator at INBO (Research Institute for Nature and Forest) since January 2022. Prior to this role, Els De Bie was a researcher at the same institute from October 2000 to April 2022, focusing on ecohydrology, database management, ecology, and vegetation science. Additionally, Els De Bie worked as a researcher on river restoration projects at Vlaamse Milieumaatschappij - VMM from January 2007 to March 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Water Resources Engineering with a specialization in Hydrology from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (1998-2000) and a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Antwerp (1994-1998).
