Johannes Jansen

Johannes Jansen is an experienced researcher and ecological consultant with a strong focus on ornithology and environmental impact assessment. Currently serving as a researcher at INBO since August 2020, Johannes has concentrated on monitoring farmland birds in Flanders and evaluating the effects of agricultural policies and practices. As the owner of Jansen Ecology since August 2015, Johannes provides nature tour guiding, field surveys, and ecological consultancy. Previous roles include assistant manager at Starling Reizen bvba, where responsibilities included organizing birding and nature tours, and advisor ecology at Antea Group, focusing on environmental studies and management plans. Johannes holds a Master's degree in Biology from the University of Antwerp and a Bachelor's degree from Ghent University.
