Tonny Sasse

Tonny Sasse has held various roles in the software development industry. Tonny worked as a Vice President at Incedo Inc. starting in 2015, where they also served as a Senior Technical Manager. Prior to that, they were a Senior Director at BIOVIA from 2010 to 2014, where they managed key functions in software development and drove strategic visions for the company. Tonny also worked as a Technical Director at Symyx Technologies from 2007 to 2010, and as a Technical Director at Elsevier MDL from 1997 to 2007. Tonny'scareer began at MDL Information Systems, Inc. in 1994, starting as a Software Engineer and eventually becoming a Director. Tonny also worked as a Researcher at the University of Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley Labs from 1991 to 1994 and as a Project Manager at the Department of Economic Affairs Netherlands from 1990 to 1991. Prior to that, Tonny was a Group Leader in Computational Material Science at SGM from 1989 to 1991.

Tonny Sasse holds a PhD in Applied Physics from the University of Twente, which they completed from 1985 to 1989. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Engineering in Applied Physics from the same university from 1984 to 1985, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Applied Physics from 1980 to 1984. Additionally, they pursued a Post Doctorate program in Winter College on Multilevel Techniques in Computational Physics at the International Center for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy in 1991.
