Damon Abbey

Damon Abbey, CBCP, has a comprehensive work experience in various roles related to business resilience. Damon began their career in 2002 as a Senior Disaster Recovery Technical Analyst at SuperValu. From there, they moved on to Lender Processing Services, Inc. (LPS) in 2007, serving as a Sr. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Analyst. In 2011, Abbey joined Cargill as part of their Enterprise Risk Management - Resiliency team. In 2014, they transitioned to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, where they worked as a Principal Consultant for Business Resilience. In 2016, Abbey joined Finance of America Companies as the Director of Business Resilience. Most recently, in 2018, they joined Incenter as a Director of Business Resilience.

Damon Abbey, CBCP, holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Bethel University, which was obtained between the years 1991 and 1995. Damon also possesses additional certifications in business continuity, namely the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) from DRI International (Disaster Recovery Institute), which they obtained in December 2011.
