Michael Kadish has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2003, they served as the Communications Director for the Brooklyn Borough President's Office, where they promoted Brooklyn's economic and cultural resurgence through media relations and event coordination. From 2006 to 2007, they operated their own communications consulting firm, providing services to clients such as Yahoo Media Group and the California League of Conservation Voters.

In 2007, Kadish became the Communications Director for TerraPass, a renewable energy startup, where they developed messaging and media opportunities to highlight the value of carbon offsets and renewable energy. Michael provided commentary to media outlets, including The New York Times and USA Today, on carbon markets and climate change.

From 2008 to 2009, Kadish worked as the Policy Director for Obama for America, providing policy resources and coordinating with the campaign's national policy team. Michael played a crucial role in designing the campaign's state messaging framework.

In 2009, Kadish served as a Communications Strategy Consultant for the Partnership Project's C-Campaign, coordinating communications for a joint national campaign to pass clean energy and climate legislation. Michael then joined the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission as the Director of Public and Consumer Affairs, where they created and managed the Division of Public and Consumer Affairs to facilitate stakeholder interaction and promote transparency.

From 2010 to 2013, Kadish worked as a Principal at Blue Vista Strategies, offering various consulting services in strategic communications, media planning, business development, and political campaigns. Michael achieved notable success by building a coalition that passed a 150 MW solar feed-in-tariff program, the largest of its kind in the US, in Los Angeles.

In 2013, Kadish became the Executive Director of GRID Alternatives Greater Los Angeles, leading the organization in providing clean power and job training to underserved families and individuals in environmentally disadvantaged communities.

In 2020, Kadish became a Founding Partner at Insight Power Partners, a firm dedicated to advancing climate solutions and job creation. Michael specialized in developing and executing successful programs that promote clean energy access, workforce development, and public health and climate solutions.

Lastly, in 2022, Kadish founded Incentivize Green, Inc., where they currently serve as the CEO. The company's mission is to encourage and reward sustainable practices.

Michael Kadish attended Columbia College, Columbia University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Michael then went on to attend the Harvard Kennedy School from 1999 to 2001, where they earned a Master's in Public Policy (MPP) with a focus on Urban Development, Housing, and Transportation.
