Stuart Martin is a seasoned engineering leader, currently serving as Head of Engineering at incept5 since September 2024. Previously, Stuart held multiple positions at Velo Payments from April 2017 to October 2024, including CTO & Head of Engineering and Chief Architect & Development Manager. Prior experience includes roles as Enterprise Architect at LJP Technologies Ltd. and CDG_Group, and as a Senior Software Engineer at incept5, where Stuart contributed to key projects for Pivotal and the BBC. Earlier in Stuart’s career, development leadership roles were undertaken at SmartStream Technologies and Valtech, and foundational software engineering was performed at Micromuse Inc. Stuart holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Kent and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Wales, Lampeter.
