Jun Hu has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Jun started their career as a Research Assistant at NASA Ames Research Center in 2004, where they collaborated with top scientists on a nanowire simulation project. Jun then joined ASML in 2010 as a Senior Software Engineer II, where they contributed to the design and implementation of a pattern match algorithm for a large-scale, distributed system. Jun worked on software architecture, implementation, and maintenance, utilizing C++ and MapReduce infrastructure. In 2020, Jun Hu joined Inceptio as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on the design and development of simulation software for self-driving trucks. Jun'sresponsibilities included creating virtual worlds with simulated agents and developing the replay of real-world sensor data using C++.
Jun Hu received a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they studied from 2003 to 2009. Prior to this, they obtained a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University. Jun also has additional certifications, including one from Udemy for Dropbox obtained in May 2019, and another certification for Mastering Multithreading with C++ also obtained in May 2019.
