Monika Veleva

Monika Veleva has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries. Monika started working as a Trainee at FISCALIA GENERAL DEL ESTADO in February 2014, where they assisted prosecutors, drafted legal papers, and attended criminal trials. Monika then joined Fon in September 2014 as an Executive Assistant to Martin Varsavsky, Founder and Chairman, and served in this role until November 2016. Next, Monika worked at Prelude Fertility as a Chief of Staff from March 2017 to June 2019. Monika then joined KMDV Consulting as a Consultant in September 2018, and they are currently employed by the company. Monika'smost recent position is with Inception Fertility, where they started working as a Legal Adviser in June 2019 and is still actively employed.

Monika Veleva's education history includes a Master of Laws - LLM degree from Northeastern University School of Law, obtained from 2023 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Political Science degree at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, spanning from 2008 to 2014. During the academic year 2012 to 2013, they received an Erasmus Scholarship and studied law at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. Before pursuing higher education, Monika Veleva achieved an International Baccalaureate degree in Social Science from I.E.S. Ramiro de Maeztu, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008.

Additionally, Monika Veleva has also obtained a certification in Bioethics: The Law, Medicine, and Ethics of Reproductive Technologies and Genetics. This certificate was obtained from edX in October 2022.
