Davie Hynd is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and offshore operations. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at Inch Cape Offshore Limited since November 2022, Davie previously held various roles at Saipem, including Offshore Project Engineer and Construction Client Representative. Davie also worked as an Offshore Client Representative for Moray East and as a Senior Project Engineer for Saipem. Earlier in the career at Babcock International Group, Davie served as Project Manager and represented offshore projects, including Beatrice OTM and Rampion Offshore Substation. Davie's expertise further includes serving as Engineering Lead for the QEC Aircraft Carrier at Babcock Energy and Marine Technology and as Client Representative for the Goliath Crane Procurement.

The Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm, currently in late stage development, will see up to 72 turbines located 15km off the Angus Coast and connect to the National Grid at Cockenzie, East Lothian. Once complete, it will be one of Scotland’s largest single sources of renewables energy and power over 1 million homes with clean electricity. Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm is owned by Inch Cape Offshore Limited, an equal joint venture between Edinburgh based renewable and sustainable energy company, Red Rock Power Limited and Ireland’s leading energy company, ESB.
