E-learning Developer at Incision

Carla Paulo has a diverse range of work experience. Carla started their career in 2015 as an Intermediate and Senior Phase Teacher at Pretoria Chinese School, where they focused on designing and creating engaging learning material to meet objectives. Carla also utilized subject policies and curricula to ensure content and assessments met examination standards. In 2020, Carla worked as a Native English Teacher at Kid's College, where they translated long-term goals into daily objectives and collaborated with other teachers and management to achieve them. Carla also assessed student understanding and adapted instructional materials to meet varied needs. From 2021 to 2022, Carla worked as a Native English Teacher at Jeju Foreign Language Education Center, where they designed and implemented curriculum with relevant multimedia and content for various programs. Carla also determined and implemented appropriate solutions for online content delivery and evaluated objectives in relation to student performance. Currently, Carla holds the position of Junior eLearning Developer at Incision, starting in 2022.

Carla Paulo's education history begins in 2011, when they attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. Carla completed their Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Education in 2014. After a break in their education, they returned to the same university in 2019 and completed an Honours degree in Education - Learning Support in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Carla Paulo has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn. In November and December 2021, they obtained certifications in Instructional Design Essentials, Instructional Design: Models of ID, Instructional Design: Needs Analysis, Instructional Design: Working with SMEs, Instructional Design: Storyboarding, Instructional Design: Creating Video Training, and Agile Instructional Design. In January 2022, they obtained certifications in Measuring Learning Effectiveness and Become an Instructional Designer.
