John Czaplewski

John Czaplewski has worked in various roles in the software engineering field. John currently holds the position of Software Engineer at Inclined since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Gaia GPS from February 2019 to September 2021, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time at Gaia GPS, they played a crucial role in developing web applications and mapping infrastructure while also contributing to the company's growth. Before Gaia GPS, John worked as a Programmer Analyst at UW-Madison Department of Geoscience from May 2013 to February 2019. John started their career in the field as a Research Intern - Data Visualization at the National Center for Freight & Infrastructure Research & Education (CFIRE) from October 2012 to April 2013. John's early work experience includes serving as a GIS / Web Support Technician at the State Cartographer's Office from November 2011 to January 2013, where they were responsible for maintaining online GIS databases and custom web mapping applications.

John Czaplewski attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science. In 2011, they also participated in the GIS Certificate Program at the same university.
