Emily Schmittler

Emily Schmittler is a seasoned professional in product design and user experience, currently serving as the Director of Product Design at Included Health since October 2021, following roles as Senior Design Manager and Product Design Manager in the Member Experience team. Prior to Included Health, Emily was a Product Design Manager at Doctor On Demand for a brief period in 2021 and spent nearly a decade at Nerdery, where responsibilities included Director of Experience Design and Principal User Experience Designer, focusing on large engagements and mentoring. Earlier career experience includes an Interaction Designer position at Cook Medical, where initiatives in user research and design documentation were initiated. Emily holds a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction Design from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Gustavus Adolphus College.
