Lawrence Hofmann

Lawrence "Rusty" Hofmann serves as the Chief of Industry Partnerships at Stanford Health Care since November 2005, focusing on collaborations that address key issues for patients and providers under the leadership of CEO David Entwistle. Previously, Hofmann held roles as Medical Director of Digital Health and Medical Director of Cardiac and Interventional Radiology. Additionally, Hofmann is a Co-Founder of Grand Rounds, Inc., which aims to enhance healthcare efficiency for employers, and has been a director on its board. Academic contributions include serving as Professor and Division Chief of Interventional Radiology at Stanford since January 2006 and as an Assistant Professor at The Johns Hopkins Hospital prior. Hofmann's education encompasses a fellowship in Interventional Radiology from Stanford University, a residency in Radiology from The Johns Hopkins University, an MD from The Ohio State University, and a B.S. in Engineering and Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
