Inclusive Energy
Deepak is an electronics and electrical engineer with an MEng and PhD from Loughborough University. He has a career in technology development and management spanning several decades, working on novel technologies for organisations large and small, including Siemens Roke Manor, Arqiva, and the Independent Broadcasting Authority.
In 2007 Deepak founded Black Kite, in order to help others build their technology businesses. Black Kite provides specialist business consultancy services to technology and research organisations, companies and universities to help them overcome their innovation management challenges in a variety of technology and R&D sectors. He works closely with Innovate UK as a Monitoring Officer on its funded programmes.
He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the IET, a Chartered Project Professional and a Fellow of the APM, and both founder and Chair of the IET’s Innovation Management Technical Network.
Deepak is a founding Non-Executive Director of Inclusive Energy. He has brought his expertise in R&D funding and management, technology development and strategy to the table since the company started in 2018.
