Wangeci Mathenge

Wangeci is responsible for developing new insurance product and pricing concepts that meet Inclusivity Solutions’ distribution partner objectives. In her role she works directly with the business development, technical and product marketing team to bring these innovative concepts to market and builds the internal business case to support them. She is a qualified actuary with over five years’ experience working for local Kenyan insurance firms in a range of different actuarial roles.

Wangeci was attracted to Inclusivity Solutions by its commitment to protect and enhance the quality of life of vulnerable people. Inclusivity Solutions gives her a platform to use her skills to fulfil her passion of financial inclusion.

Prior to Inclusivity Solutions, she worked at Kenya Orient Insurance, where she served as the in-house Actuary responsible for product development, reporting and analysis relating to both life and general insurance. She brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge of the local insurance market

Wangeci holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and is a Fellow of the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries.
