Scott Mortensen has extensive experience in communications, training, and management roles. Starting in 1998, they worked as the Manager of Management Training at The Home Depot, where they managed a team and developed training programs for store management. From 1999 to 2002, they were a Training Analyst at WebTone Technologies, where they developed and delivered courses for client software implementations.

From 2002 to 2004, they served as the Training Manager at TouchPoint Solutions, overseeing the training organization and communicating training products and services to clients in the financial services industry. Scott then became the Director of Training Development at M1 Global Solutions from 2004 to 2005, where they developed and implemented training plans and created course materials.

Beginning in 2005, Scott worked at SunTrust Bank. Scott first held the role of Communications Analyst and Officer in the EIS Business Performance Group, where they provided communications services to executive-level management. Scott then transitioned to the role of Instructional Designer & Facilitator in the EPMO Competency & Training Group, responsible for developing and delivering training courses for project managers.

In 2012, Scott joined Delta Air Lines as the Business Readiness Training Lead, managing all training-related components for a large IT toolset replacement initiative and supporting organizational change management efforts. In 2013, they moved to Cox Communications as the Communications Manager / Contractor, managing and coordinating corporate communications and events for the Technology organization.

Since 2013, Scott has been with InComm Payments. Initially, they served as the Director of Communications, IT, and later transitioned to the role of Director of Communications, responsible for internal communications across the company's worldwide enterprise. Their duties include reinforcing organizational objectives through various forms of messaging and providing communications and change management support for IT and HR initiatives.

Scott Mortensen received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The University of Georgia in 1990. Scott also obtained a Master of Arts degree in English from The University of Georgia from 1992 to 1994.
