Akif also contributed to the Western India Regional Council of the ICAI as a Co-Opted Member of the Digital Accounting and Assurance Committee in 2022-23 and the Internal Audit Committee in 2016-17. Previous roles include Assistant Manager in Risk Advisory at BDO India LLP and Consultant at Mahajan & Aibara.
