Dan Oconnell

Dan OConnell has extensive experience in law enforcement and military service. Currently serving as a Sergeant for the Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson since September 2015, Dan previously worked as a Police Officer at both the Nassau County Police Department and the New York City Police Department from 1985 to 2012. Dan's military career includes service in the US Navy from 1985 to 2001 and as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1981 to 1984. Dan holds a Master of Business Administration from Binghamton University, an Associate's degree from Farmingdale State College, and two Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice/Police Science and Criminal Justice and Corrections from SUNY Brockport.
