Cynthia Timmers

Cynthia Timmers is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in translational sciences, currently serving as Executive Director at Incyte since August 2020, after previously holding the position of Senior Director in the same lab. Timmers has held significant roles in various institutions, including Director of the Translational Science Laboratory at the Medical University of South Carolina and Director of the Solid Tumor Translational Science Resource at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Prior to these roles, Timmers served as Head of Strategic Partnering in Business Development at MolecularMD and worked in various capacities including Medical Science Liaison and Investigator at Novartis and Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Ph.D. in Human Molecular Genetics from Oregon Health & Science University.
