Eiji UEDA, MD, PhD, MBA, currently serves as Country Manager and Head of Clinical Development at Incyte Biosciences Japan G.K., overseeing clinical development in oncology, hematology, and inflammatory diseases since October 2017. UEDA is also a member of the Japan-Based Executive Committee for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America as of April 2024. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, where UEDA managed over 100 team members and contributed to R&D and medical affairs, and various positions at Pfizer, focusing on oncology and new product planning. UEDA holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and a Doctor of Philosophy from The University of Tokyo, as well as an MBA from Kenichi Ohmae Graduate School of Business.
