Hamza Celik

Hamza Celik is a director of Hematology-Oncology Drug Discovery, currently overseeing drug discovery programs and mentoring scientists at Incyte. Previously, they served as a principal investigator in pharmacology, developing hematology-focused lab capabilities and managing various drug discovery projects. Hamza completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, where they conducted groundbreaking research on myeloid malignancies and published extensively in the field. They earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the French National Centre for Scientific Research and hold additional degrees in Functional Genomics and Molecular Biology and Genetics.
