Zainul Abidin Ahmad

Zainul Abidin Ahmad has extensive experience in legal and corporate governance across various sectors. Zainul currently serves as Deputy Director at the Energy Commission since January 2019 and has held the position of Assistant General Manager at Indah Water Konsortium since May 2015. Prior to these roles, Zainul was the Head of Legal & Company Secretary at Gas Malaysia Berhad from August 2011 to April 2015 and at Amanah Raya Berhad from February 2002 to July 2011. Zainul also served as General Counsel for TRI/Celcom/MHS Berhad from November 1996 to January 2002 and was the Company Secretary at MHSB from April 1994 to October 1996. Zainul began a legal career as a Legal Assistant in a law firm from May 1991 to April 1994 after earning an LL.B (hons) in Law from the International Islamic University Malaysia and a Diploma in Business Studies (Marketing) from MARA Institute of Technology.
