Karin Ortiz is currently the Jefa de Area at INDAP Purén. Previously, from 2007 to 2018, they served as an Ingeniero Agronomo at Ilustre Municipalidad de Maullin, where they were the Jefe Técnico Prodesal Módulo 2. Karin also has experience as an Agronomo with Aranaberry S.A and Framberry S.A in 2006, overseeing phytosanitary management and harvest operations. They earned a degree in agrarian sciences with a focus on agricultural economics from Universidad Austral de Chile (1999-2006) and are currently pursuing a Diplomatura in social economics at Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
