Roy Eddekel Alvear Aguirre

Roy Eddekel Alvear Aguirre is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in project management, infrastructure, and education. Currently serving as Project Manager in the Program Management Office at INDAP since January 2025, Roy has been involved with the Fedora Project as an Ambassador since 2009, promoting the project and contributing to software packaging. Previous roles include DevOps at Capitalizarme, where responsibilities included managing infrastructure on AWS EKS and implementing CI/CD pipelines, and an Infrastructure Engineer position at IPS Chileatiende, ensuring the cloud-based portal's uptime. Roy has also held teaching positions at CFT Teodoro Wickel, INACAP, and Universidad Mayor, covering a variety of IT subjects. Academically, Roy holds a Master's degree in Information Technology Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an Engineering degree in Informatics from Universidad de La Frontera.
