Hisayuki Idekoba

Hisayuki “Deko” Idekoba currently serves as a Board Director of Indeed. Deko served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Indeed from 2013 to 2019. Prior to his CEO term, Deko was Indeed’s chairman and spearheaded the transition after Recruit Holdings acquired the firm in 2012. He also holds the titles of Senior Managing Corporate Executive Officer, COO, CSO and CRO at Recruit, as well as Head of its HR Technology Business and Chairman of Recruit Global Staffing.

Deko joined Recruit in 1999 and was responsible for acquiring and growing four Internet businesses, including websites focused on the travel, restaurant, salon & spa and coupon industries. His success led to his appointment, youngest at the age of 36, to Recruit corporate executive officer. Deko holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Waseda University.
