Dr Lav Darda

Dr. Lav Darda has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dr Lav started their career as a Trainee at Virchow Biotech Pvt Ltd in 2008. In 2009, they worked as a Student Trainee at Piramal Enterprises Limited. From 2014 to 2019, Dr. Darda joined Cactus Communications and held various roles including Medical Writer, Medical Writer II, and Manager of Scientific Writing. In 2021, they joined MedTrix Healthcare as a Consultant medical writer and worked there until March 2022. Currently, Dr. Darda is employed at Indegene, where they are a Scientific Writing Lead, a position they started in March 2023.

Dr. Lav Darda completed their education in a chronological order. They started their academic journey in 2005 by attaining a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology, which they attended from 2005 to 2009. They then pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Medicine at The University of Sheffield from 2009 to 2010. Their education continued at The University of Sheffield, where they obtained a PhD degree, specializing in the role of miR-196a and HOXB9 in head and neck cancer, from 2010 to 2014.
