Anindita Basu has an extensive work experience in the field of scientific writing and research. Anindita started their career as a Biotechnology professional at Heritage Institute of Technology in 2005. Anindita then worked at various positions in different companies, including Syngene International Limited, Vanderbilt School of Medicine - Center of Structure Biology, University of Kansas, Lonza, Syngene - BBRC, and Indegene.
At Syngene International Limited, Anindita served as a Senior Research Associate from May 2014 to April 2016. During this time, they were involved in downstream processing of therapeutic proteins and antibodies and expression of proteins in E. coli and mammalian cells.
Anindita then worked as an RA II at Vanderbilt School of Medicine from September 2013 to April 2014.
From August 2010 to August 2013, Anindita worked at the University of Kansas, where they held various roles such as Graduate Research Assistant, Graduate Student, and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Anindita'sresearch focused on the structural characterization of Hydroxyornithine Transformylase in Pseudomonas aeruginosa using X-ray crystallography and enzyme kinetics.
After that, Anindita joined Lonza as a Scientist from August 2016 to October 2018.
Later, they worked at Syngene - BBRC as an Associate Scientist from December 2018 to December 2019.
Currently, Anindita is employed at Indegene, where they initially served as a Scientific Writing team lead from January 2020 to January 2023. Anindita is currently an Associate Manager in the Scientific Writing department.
Anindita Basu obtained their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Biotechnology from the Heritage Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of Kansas, completing their studies from 2010 to 2013.
