Kamala Kannan S has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare IT services and digital marketing. Kamala began their career as a Graphic Designer at Apex Knowledge Solutions Pvt Ltd, where they gained experience in image editing, redrawing, and color corrections. Kamala then worked as a Sr. Graphic Designer at Macmillan India Ltd, where they were responsible for designing interactive solutions and creating design concepts. Kamala also developed expertise in motion design and emerging platforms such as Flash and Ajax.

After that, Kamala joined Indegene Lifesystems Pvt. Ltd. as a Web Lead, where they demonstrated their skills in HTML, CSS, and JQuery, and developed innovative and memorable interactive marketing designs. Following this, they joined RxPrism as a Web Lead and later as a Manager - Web & Digital Services. In these roles, they managed healthcare IT service projects and products, and was responsible for the overall development and service delivery of various digital assets such as e-Detailers, e-Mailers, and websites. Kamala also gained experience in platforms like Veeva CRM, Vault PromoMats, and Veeva Engage.

Currently, Kamala works at Indegene as an Associate Digital Lead. In this role, they manage healthcare IT service projects and drives the overall development and service delivery of various digital assets for global pharma companies. Kamala sets up functional and operating models for the production of digital assets, and handles digital platforms such as Veeva CRM, Vault PromoMats, Engage Meeting, and IQVIA - Orchestrated Customer Engagement (OCE) CRM.

Kamala Kannan S began their education in 1992 at the D.R.B.C.C. Hindu Higher Secondary School, where they completed their Higher Secondary +2 degree in Mathematics, Science, and Biology in 1994. Kamala then attended the University of Madras from 1995 to 1998, earning a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. From 1998 to 2002, Kamala Kannan S studied Computer Engineering at NIIT, completing the GNIIT degree.
